Why I like the HP Mini 110 Series 10.1-Inch Netbook
As netbooks go the HP Mini 110 Series 10.1-Inch Netbook is one of the best I have used. Netbooks are fairly new on the market and so are finding their place. This one has really stood out above the rest.
If you are unfamiliar with netbooks you should know that they are primarily used for connecting to the internet. Internet usage is their primary function. They are not really intended for use as a laptop or a gaming computer. If you want that then you need to buy a laptop or a desktop computer. The power of a netbook is in its small size and light weigh that makes it easy to go with you where ever you go.
It comes ready with a 802.11b/g WLAN wireless card to connect to the internet at any wifi hotspot. Freee wifi hotspots are getting more and more widespread in many restuarants, hotels, coffee shops and other places where people congregate. Once you have a connection you are free to work, browse the internet, email or chat with your friends.
This netbook features a 1.60GHz Intel® Atom™ Processor N270 for fast loading of webpages and web applications such as Google Docs. It is also fast enough for great video chat via the built in webcam that is mounted at the top of the screen.
The keyboard is a bit smaller than a standard keyboard but is close enough that it is easy to get used to and makes a nice transition from your regular keyboard.
