The Beach and the Bathroom
Your bathroom is the first spot that many guests will see as most who visit for even a short period of time must go to the restroom. Show off your bathroom and leave your guests with a relaxing and serene feeling.
If you want to redo your home with beach decor then the bathroom is one of the best spots to start and that is because it’s smaller and so many of the things that you implement will have a much bigger impact.
You can easily purchase a couple of things that can bring that wow effect when others see it and little accessories such as wall accents will really stand out.
You might find that once you begin you will love it so much and want to work on your bedroom next.
Begin by using some elbow grease and spruce it up before you add your decorative accents. Afterward, it’s a very good idea to buy a new shower curtain in a pleasing and eye catching coastal design that you really love. Shower curtains are very cheap and can add so much to the overall ambiance.
Once you have a pretty one picked out you can start accessorizing. Accessories for the bathroom can either be purchased and they can also be made on your own! If you are crafty (or even if you are not) there are some easy decorations that you can add to your walls that will really help them pop.
To start, you can gather any seashells you may have saved and create a pretty piece of wall art from cardboard and a glue gun! Consider arranging your seashells into a starfish shape or maybe even the first initial of your surname.
Frame as desired and just leave your glass top off so it won’t break.
You could also simply purchase some pencil starfish and hang them up in a trio design. Use the rule of three to hang or display items and you will almost never go wrong.
They will look much prettier than just one hanging by itself.
Gather your extra towels and roll them up and store them in a metal bucket that is right by your shower stall. Not only is this a convenient spot for those who need extra towels but it also looks great.
Hunt for more seashell shower curtain sales and find nautical pillows for your ideal beach themed home.
