There is no dog better than a Vizsla for someone who is searching for a loyal and adorable canine companion. This is one dog that is bound to keep you and your family entertained for hours at a stretch. A Vizsla dog is highly energetic and very playful, it is also known to provide a lot of attention and love to its owners. One of the best places to get a Vizsla dog is not from newspaper advertisements or pet stores but from reputed Vizsla breeders.

It is highly advised that you get your pet Vizsla from a breeder of high repute, because only then you can be assured of getting the best possible dog for yourself. Before proceeding to buy a Vizsla from a breeder it is better that you verify that the breeder from which you are buying the dog is genuine and reputed and not just some puppy mill running in disguise of a breeder.

The better Vizsla breeders will not advertise or solicit you for your custom, and you can be certain that they will not be running a puppy mill. They will rely on your coming to them if you need a Vizsla, and any advertising they do will almost certainly not display any Vizsla puppies they might have that are up for adoption.

Genuine Vizsla breeders just like all other breeders care about their dogs. They would never give away their pure bred puppies to just anyone, also it is very necessary for them that you fulfill their stringent requirements before they give you a Vizsla puppy.

Potty Training Your New Dog

Let’s face it. Many of us enjoy a little companion therefore, some of us keep puppies as pets. But most of us dread having pets as we may think that we are going to burden ourselves with more responsibility. Some of us think that potty training your puppy is a hassel. Let me tell you one important thing; it is best to potty train your puppy while it is still young as when you train it when it is older, you need to get rid of its old habits. These are some ways in which you can potty train your beloved puppy. Read on if you want to find out more.

We shall start by understanding the basics. One thing to note; a new-born is not ready for potty training. The ideal age would be three months.

First Rule: Remember to keep your puppy’s meal on a regular schedule. You can take your pet out after he is done with his meal. You can also take out your pet after nap, before his bedtime, or when he whimpers during the night.

Second Rule: You should avoid as much as possible to give him food and water while taking a walk outside. If you really have to, you should only give a little. Another important thing to remember is that you should not give your puppy water two hours before bedtime. This is to avoid late night accidents.

Third Rule: Your puppy must be tired after playing around. Therefore, you should bring it out on a walk on a leash. This would give your puppy a hint that it’s time to relieve himself.

Fourth Rule: You should try to bring your puppy to the same spot to relieve itself. This way your puppy can recognoze the area and will try its best to relieve itself at the same spot.

Fifth Rule: You can use a word that would cue your puppy to relieve himself on your command. They will recognize that specific word as a command soon enough.

Last: I am sure you like rewards. Well, same goes for you puppy too. You should reward or praise your puppy if he relieves himself outside or followed your instructions on potty training.

You cannot expect the potty training session to be perfect. I am sure you will encounter unforeseen circumstances. Well, here are some ways to deal with them.

If you caught your pet in middle of relieving himself, don’t scream or yell. Gently nudge your pet to go outside and after this continue the reward thing by praising your puppy.

I am sure it is frustrating seeng the mess left behind by your pet but you need to stay calm and clean up the mess. After that you should continue the potty training routine that you have made up. After cleaning put the soiled cleaning materials outdoors or where your puppy usually relieves himself, making it easier for your pet to recognize where he should go in the future.

So, there you have it. All you need to do now is to stick to the routine that you have drawn out for your puppy. Trust me, with some patience you puppy will be very well discipline. Good luck!

Marathons Training And Beginning Runners

Ragdoll cats are a special breed that many cat-lovers seem to be drawn to and often for a variety of different reasons. They are well-known for many things, but more so when it comes to their great looks and excellent demeanor in general, making them one of the more chooses amongst cat-lovers for popular feline breeds to date.

The breed itself was originally developed by a woman named Ann Baker. Baker had a favorite cat named Josephine, who later was involved in a car accident, which lead to the need of treatment and professional care. After this care, it’s said that the cat allegedly became much more docile than she had been before the accident, which Ann decided to tap into further with the breed itself.

The actual name of ragdoll refers to one of the main traits that the breed is often so well-known for, which would be its overall docile behavior. This is particularly so with traits that are similar to the cat going limp when picked up and held. Other common traits include an overall tendency for having placid in general, awhile being very affectionate nature at the same time.

This particular type of breed is also well-known for other characteristics, which often draw many people to wanting to have one, if not several. For instance, many appreciate the fact that their gentle temperaments ensure that they are relaxed, easy going and also easy to handle. However, they are also known for being quite intelligent as well.

These types of cats are also popular for their great looks. Overall, many within the breed are considered to be large in build and quite gorgeous to look at, often coming in a wide variety of different colors. Due to their demeanor, size, grace and beauty, many refer to them as being the gentle giants within the feline species.

They come in six different colors known as lilac point, seal point, blue point, chocolate point, cream point and red point. While the breed originally started off with three distinctive patterns, they have since increased over time, being anything from mitted, bi-color, lynx point, tortie point and color point for the most part.

Overall, numerous find that ragdoll cats can make for a wonderful addition for a wide variety of different situations and environments. Thanks to their wonderful demeanor in general, they can even make a great pet for those who live with small children or other animals, making them the ideal choice for many.
